The conveyor system has been an indispensable tool in making every assembly or production line faster and more efficient. But like any other invention it is more than the sum of its parts. Its components are what make it a reliable and versatile system which can be used in different applications. In its simplest form the conveyor system is made of a belt that is placed around two pulleys which loops endlessly. The pulley is powered by a motor which moves the belt. Scrapers come in many sizes and shapes but they generally perform one function. As the name suggests they scrape off material. They are used to clean rubber belts and remove excess concrete when discharged upstream during operations.

Friction plates are generally known as part of clutches. They are most commonly used in vehicles for automatic transmission. They can be made of different materials. With the right application and concept they can be incorporated into a conveyor system. They reduce noise and facilitate faster and more accurate transportation of materials from one point to another. Shifting applications need a dynamic coefficient of friction to yield the right timing and a smooth operation.  

These are just some of the components that have been modified for a better conveyor system. Scrapers and friction plates are new components that have been added and serve as upgrades to the old system.
